Your Role

BDO Canada is seeking a Ceridian Dayforce HCM Team Lead to enhance our Solution Operations (Managed Services) team, with the flexibility to work remotely across Canada.

Position Overview:

The Ceridian Dayforce Team Lead plays a pivotal role within the Solution Operations practice at BDO Canada, concentrating on the effective execution, advancement, and expansion of the Ceridian Dayforce Operations Program. This position requires a seasoned expert with at least 5 years of experience in managing client engagements and leading a team while leveraging their technical, analytical, and leadership abilities to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the ongoing delivery and enhancement of the Ceridian Dayforce Operations program.
  2. Offer expert guidance and leadership to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and service expectations.
  3. Manage the overall workload and assignments of the team, including incident and request management, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to client operations.
  4. Create and maintain troubleshooting documentation, diagnostic tools, and knowledge repositories to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Oversee the optimal use of functional and technical resources, ensuring all Knowledge Transfer Plans are current and effectively executed.
  6. Strategically cultivate client relationships, setting and managing expectations among all stakeholders.
  7. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technology professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
  8. Contribute to the strategic planning and development of service offerings, identifying opportunities for growth and enhancement.
  9. Ensure compliance with the company's architectural and delivery management standards, providing ongoing feedback for service improvements.

Your Qualifications and Education:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in executing Ceridian Dayforce HCM engagements.
  2. Certification in Ceridian Dayforce HCM.
  3. Proven ability to address complex problems in dynamic and diverse environments.
  4. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  5. Extensive knowledge of ITIL best practices, with relevant certifications preferred.
  6. Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of managing and exceeding client expectations.
  7. Strong leadership and team development skills, with a history of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  8. Experience in business process mapping, change management, and effectively managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
  9. Solid understanding of common HCM business practices, with additional certifications in related fields being a significant asset, such as:
  10. Canadian Payroll Association certification.
  11. Ceridian Canadian Payroll certification.
  12. Ceridian Canadian Benefits certification.
