Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway (0890219 BC). As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our staff, training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to our company's policies and procedures.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a noisy, odorous, and wet/damp environment, with hot temperatures and tight deadlines.
