**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager, Produce to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of produce specialists, fostering a positive work environment, and driving sales growth in the produce department.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of produce specialists, providing coaching, mentoring, and resources to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a customer-first mentality.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth in the produce department, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Ensure accurate stocktaking and inventory management in the produce department.
**Requirements**
- 2-3 years of experience in a retail or grocery environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Food Safe Certification.
- Strong knowledge of produce products, including quality, freshness, and handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
