Job Summary
AFL is seeking a skilled labourer to join our team in Rural Manitoba. As a utility technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies, cleaning and maintaining company vehicles and equipment, and setting up worksites.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies
- Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Set up worksites, including flagging, opening manholes, and using gas detectors
- Follow directions and instructions from foreman or manager
- Perform landscaping-related duties
- Adhere to and promote environmental, health, and safety policies
Requirements
- Previous utility or construction experience is an asset
- Ability to work in all temperatures and climates and in confined spaces
- Ability to travel to various site-based projects
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a team
