Job Summary:
The University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine, in partnership with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, is seeking a highly qualified academic urogynecologist to join our team. As a Clinician Investigator, you will be responsible for providing consultation services and ongoing care in urogynecology, as well as participating in general gynecology clinic care, including urgent care and rapid access clinics, and gynecology on-call.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation services and ongoing care in urogynecology
- Participate in general gynecology clinic care, including urgent care and rapid access clinics, and gynecology on-call
- Participate in obstetrics on-call, if interested
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in urogynecology
- Collaborate with other clinicians and researchers to advance the field of urogynecology
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in urogynecology
Requirements:
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or equivalent certification
- Recognized subspecialty training in Urogynecology
- Licensed, or eligible for independent or restricted license, under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Academic position description of Clinician Investigator
- Full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at the University of Toronto
- Established track record in research
- Strong and documented commitment to education and teaching
