Civil Litigation Lawyer

Azran Lawyers, a leading law firm in Old Montreal, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our team.
This role is ideal for a legal professional with a strong background in civil litigation who is passionate about defending clients' rights in complex cases.
As a Civil Litigation Lawyer, you will play a key role in representing clients in court, managing cases, and developing effective legal strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Representing clients in civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, tort claims, and real estate disputes.
- Developing solid legal strategies to maximize clients' chances of success.
- Ensuring the complete management of customer files, from opening to closing.
- Drafting legal documents, such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiating out-of-court settlements to avoid lengthy and costly lawsuits.
- Maintaining regular and transparent communication with clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to analyze complex legal situations and propose innovative solutions.
- Rigor, sense of organization, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent negotiating skills and ability to collaborate with other team members.
