Key Responsibilities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Manage Food and Beverage Operations

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.

Language

English.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a noisy and physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
