Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborates with content creators, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to assess educational needs and determine effective solutions and delivery methods for various employee groups
- Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of custom online learning programs adhering to recognized standards (AICC/SCORM) in line with contemporary instructional design practices
- Creates, develops, and/or revises non-digital educational resources such as training aids, tools, and manuals
- Contributes to the gathering and evaluation of organizational learning trends, metrics, and data to support informed insights that foster a unified learning culture
- Facilitates a company-wide network of training designers and facilitators to consistently develop online learning solutions and implement effective adult learning principles in training delivery through structured coaching
- Manages components of the organization's learning strategy related to standardized training program design and a consistent employee learning experience
- Assists in the execution of in-person training initiatives or employee events
- Provides support to the Learning System Administrator to ensure daily administrative tasks are completed as needed
- Performs additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Certification in Adult Learning or Instructional Design, or 4+ years of relevant experience
- Formal certification in online learning design software (Articulate360, Storyline, SCORM packages preferred)
- Experience with document design software (Adobe Creative, InDesign)
- Learning management system/platform administration experience (Percipio, Skillsoft)
- Background in gaming, food and beverage, or other hospitality/entertainment sectors is advantageous
- Experience in a complex, multi-location organization is a plus
- In-depth understanding of instructional design principles
- Advanced skills in desktop publishing and document design
- Technical proficiency necessary for managing learning management platforms
- Technical expertise related to e-learning development software
- Strong time and project management capabilities
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks
- Team-oriented individual who is enthusiastic about fostering growth and development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and visualize information in clear formats
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and coaching abilities
- Capacity to work collaboratively with individuals at all organizational levels
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Office setting
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Occasional travel between various locations as necessary
