Job Title: Physician

We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our interdisciplinary team at Lifemark Health Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to Canadian Veterans.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing complex medical conditions, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and providing evidence-based care to our clients. If you are a motivated and compassionate Physician with a passion for rehabilitation, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of presenting eligible health problems
  • Perform medication reviews and identify drug therapy problems
  • Clarify relevant medical issues, including comorbid conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on treatment recommendations
  • Communicate directly with the Veteran's primary healthcare provider
  • Participate in de-brief discussions with the interdisciplinary team
  • Engage in targeted follow-up care through a consultative model
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine and valid license to practice in respective field in province/territory as applicable
  • Experience in the management of complex medical conditions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a variety of health professionals and disciplines in an interdisciplinary team environment
