Job Title: Planning and Process Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Process Engineer to join our team at Thinkpivot. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all customer purchase order requirements are clearly outlined in Work Orders and/or subtier work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Work Orders and subtier work instructions to ensure clarity and concision.
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineering Supervisor to design and commission production of jigs, fixtures, and other manufacturing aids.
  • Provide engineering support and aid for the entire manufacturing plant, including selection of machinery and equipment.
  • Communicate discrepancies in purchase order requirements and manufacturing problems to customers and execute actions or dispositions within the company.
  • Prepare detailed feasibility studies, cost breakdowns, and analysis for the manufacture of parts, assemblies, and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
  • Fluent skills in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Minimum 3-year experience working as a process planner or engineer in a machine shop environment.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working experience in SolidWorks.
