Job Summary:

The Head Baker will be responsible for leading our bakery team in the production of high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recipe Development: Create and implement new recipes and menu items to meet customer demand and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Bakery Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including ingredient ordering, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train and develop our bakery team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Work with our sales team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

  • Accurate: Ability to accurately measure ingredients and follow recipes.
  • Dependability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability: Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
