Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all housekeeping activities are conducted in accordance with established safety standards and departmental policies.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets and payrolls for the housekeeping department.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Performance Evaluation and Development
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the maintenance of inventory levels for supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
    • Implement inventory control measures to prevent losses and optimize resource utilization.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to meet the needs of the housekeeping department.
    • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work with the front desk team to resolve guest issues and ensure a positive experience.
    Additional Responsibilities
    • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
      • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who are displaced by conflict or natural disasters.
      • Assist with foreign credential recognition and provide support for integration into the community.
    • Support for Youths
      • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
      • Work with the HR team to develop and implement programs that support youth employment and development.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field

Working Conditions

  • 40 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
