Position: Supervisor - Mechanical/Electrical 12 Month Continuing Exempt Position
Department: Facility Services Department
Salary Range: $85,260 to $106,575 & Comprehensive Benefits Package
Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this position is responsible for the supervision and management of the mechanical and electrical systems within the School District #57 (Prince George) facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure the efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, facilities management).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a facilities management or maintenance environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
