Physiotherapist - Northern Regional Health Authority

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Treat Patients
You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities and developing personalized physiotherapy programs to help them achieve their goals. This will involve conducting thorough evaluations, creating treatment plans, and implementing exercises and interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
Supervise and Collaborate with Team MembersYou will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including technical and support staff, to ensure seamless care and effective communication. This will involve supervising and guiding team members, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Plan and Implement Physiotherapy ProgramsYou will be responsible for planning and implementing physiotherapy programs that meet the unique needs of each patient. This will involve selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to promote optimal outcomes.
Maintain Accurate Records and ReportsYou will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including clinical and progress notes. This will involve documenting patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements- Education and Licensure
You must be a licensed Physiotherapist with a degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. You must also be eligible for licensure in the province of practice.
Experience and SkillsWhile experience is an asset, we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow with our team. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as well as work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and community clinics.
