Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at Del Zotto & Son Butcher Shop. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that our sales team is properly assigned to duties and that they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and supplies as needed to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our sales team is properly staffed and that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise and provide exceptional customer service to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure that our management team has the necessary information to make informed decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Cash: Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Oversee Payroll: Oversee payroll administration to ensure that our employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or retail environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
- Free Parking: Free parking available for employees.
- Permanent Position: Permanent position with opportunities for advancement.
- English Language: English language is the primary language of communication.
- 35 Hours per Week: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
