Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at Del Zotto & Son Butcher Shop. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that our sales team is properly assigned to duties and tasks to meet customer needs.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and supplies to ensure that our store is well-stocked and meets customer demand.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our sales team is properly staffed and that customer needs are met.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure that our store is running efficiently.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that customer needs are met.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Manage Cash: Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Oversee Payroll: Oversee payroll administration to ensure that our staff is properly paid and that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or retail environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and a client-focused approach.
