Key Responsibilities

As an Automotive Body Repair Specialist, your tasks will include:

  • Estimating repair costs based on damage assessments
  • Inspecting vehicles post-repair
  • Planning and organizing repair tasks
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Training apprentices
  • Replacing various vehicle components including body parts and frames
  • Preparing surfaces for painting through sanding and masking
  • Repairing dents and defects using specialized tools
  • Removing and replacing damaged panels and parts
  • Applying primers and paints to surfaces
  • Repairing or replacing interior components
  • Fixing damaged windows and sunroofs
  • Mixing and matching paint colors
  • Utilizing soldering equipment and fillers for repairs
  • Straightening frames using appropriate equipment
Experience Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience
Work Conditions

This position requires:

  • A fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail with tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
