Dietitian II Renal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II Renal to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care to patients with renal disease.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop individualized nutritional care plans for patients with renal disease, taking into account their medical history, dietary needs, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics, including diet modifications and lifestyle changes.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize clinical nutrition services.
- Participate in research activities to advance the field of renal nutrition and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from a recognized university.
- Current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (BC).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with patients with renal disease in a medical or acute care setting.
- Advanced clinical skills in renal nutrition and ability to apply them in practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
