Landscape Worker Job Description

NAMU LANDSCAPE is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor workforce, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients' properties, ensuring they look their best.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to build and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Keep our clients' gardens and lawns looking their best.
  • Cut Grass: Maintain our clients' lawns to the highest standard.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Keep our clients' properties clean and tidy.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Ensure our clients' properties are free from debris.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the preparation of our clients' gardens and lawns.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Help our clients achieve the perfect lawn.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Add beauty and life to our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Keep our clients' gardens and lawns healthy and thriving.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure our team's equipment is in top working order.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Provide the care and attention our clients' outdoor spaces need.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Assist with the upkeep of our team's equipment.
  • Tree Removal: Safely remove trees and branches from our clients' properties.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors, noisy, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Landscape contractor.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation or public transportation available.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Screening Questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
