Landscape Worker Job Description

NAMU Landscape is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our landscape crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns and gardens.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage from the work site.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as tools and equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:

NAMU Landscape is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
