Lead Project Coordinator | Evolving Web | Canada

We are in search of an experienced, detail-oriented, and committed project coordinator who excels in managing web design and development initiatives along with the associated teams.

As a rapidly growing web agency, our services encompass web planning, design, and development. In this role, you will oversee the workflow of incoming web requests, collaborate with partners to grasp requirements and objectives, and ensure seamless communication within our internal project teams in an agile setting.

The ideal candidate is a well-organized, innovative individual capable of working both independently and collaboratively to deliver exceptional client-focused website designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of projects from inception to completion using agile methodologies, working closely with creative and development teams to ensure timelines are met.
  • Create project schedules and serve as a guide for internal processes and checkpoints.
  • Integrate a diverse skill set in web development, art direction, graphic design, and digital content production.
  • Monitor and report on project schedules, budgets, and statuses.
  • Assign tasks to designers and developers, tracking progress until completion.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and maintain engagement among project team members.
  • Provide insights and recommendations as projects evolve.
  • Act as a representative for clients at Evolving Web.
  • Supervise a team of developers, offering regular feedback on their performance.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in an agency, web development firm, or digital marketing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in an agile work environment.
  • Proven understanding of web development projects, applications, and technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with Drupal, WordPress, and/or mobile development.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience with web project management tools (JIRA, Redmine, Basecamp, etc.).
  • Knowledge of web usability, accessibility, and user experience best practices.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • A collaborative team player with problem-solving and leadership abilities.
