Overview
ViziRecruiter is on the lookout for seasoned Project Coordinators with a minimum of 7 years of experience, particularly in managing unionized projects. We are particularly interested in candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role will support various sites within this region.

Certification Requirement
Master Electrician Certification is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee site resources, including subcontractors, materials, construction equipment, and labor, in partnership with superintendents.
  • Effectively manage client expectations across all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Develop work scopes, shift schedules, and fieldwork packages to implement and control all work efficiently and safely.
  • Provide guidance to the Superintendent, General Foreperson, Foreperson, and direct field labor.
  • Ensure all field activities meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and cost standards.
  • Implement daily and weekly short-range planning at the foreman level.
  • Foster a culture of excellence that aligns with ViziRecruiter's core values through leading by example.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing brownfield/greenfield construction, pipeline, and plant shutdowns, particularly for unionized projects.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects valued up to $25 million with various contractors and craft personnel.
  • Journeyperson Trade certification in a mechanical field or a related post-secondary degree is preferred.
  • A strong blend of education and experience in business management, project management, or related technical fields.
  • Proficient in interpreting Requests for Proposals and utilizing software systems for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
  • Experience in analyzing project/operational financial data and implementing performance action plans to enhance operational results.
  • Technical expertise in the mechanical/piping sector, including shutdown/turnaround implementation, operations coordination, equipment management, cost estimating, and bid development.

Additional Information
These positions are categorized as safety-sensitive and will necessitate the completion of drug and alcohol testing.
