We are seeking a Government Affairs Analyst to become a vital part of our on-site team in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigating significant stories, political developments, and evaluating governmental and financial policies;
- Keeping abreast of current events in Canadian politics, finance, and culture;
- Analyzing information and systematically organizing your findings;
- Conducting comprehensive research utilizing diverse sources such as academic publications, news reports, public records, and interviews;
- Collaborating with the Executive Producer to draft scripts for video production;
- Partnering with the marketing team to create content and disseminate it through various online platforms and social media.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor's degree in political science, business, or finance; experience in journalism or reporting is a plus.
- Experience in the industry or a strong interest in writing or politics;
- Familiarity with Canadian Press style guidelines;
- A professional and engaging demeanor;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities;
- Strong analytical skills to interpret political data, news, and events, providing insightful commentary and forecasts;
- Attention to detail and clarity in communication;
- Self-motivated, diligent, and proactive;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to breaking news;
- Professional appearance suitable for a formal business setting;
- Proficient in using cloud and Android applications such as WhatsApp, Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs), Box, Salesforce, and Slack.
