Public Affairs Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Consultant to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a key member of our public affairs practice, you will provide government relations, stakeholder relations, and communications advice and support to our clients.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public policy, politics, and current events, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective strategies. You will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive government relations and communications counsel to our clients, including research, strategy development, and project implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide government relations and stakeholder relations advice and support to clients
  • Develop and implement effective communications strategies to achieve client objectives
  • Conduct research and analysis on public policy issues and trends
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive government relations and communications plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community groups
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field
  • A strong understanding of public policy, politics, and current events
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
