About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Westridge Painting & Coating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Paint Application: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan work schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Client Communication: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide guidance on painting techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and at least 7 months of experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Experience with brush painting and roller painting, and ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colors, and a client-focused approach.
