About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at A1 PAINTING LTD. as a key member of our painting crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Finishing: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and apply a finish to match the surrounding area.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work at heights, bend, crouch, and kneel, with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Working Conditions

Work 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
