About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Karma Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new recipes, techniques, and presentation styles.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels and costs to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce food costs and improve profitability.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish.
    • Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant or similar fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Language
    • English.
