Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess cutting-edge battery technology to inform business development and project delivery
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to a broader audience, including clients and stakeholders
  • Manage projects and tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Meet key performance indicators and contribute to the growth of our energy storage practice
  • Analyze and interpret technical data and documents to inform business decisions
  • Model battery performance and degradation to optimize system design and operation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new business opportunities and projects
  • Present and develop presentation materials for conferences and workshops

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in battery research and development
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with battery testing, safety, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% of the time
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in chemical engineering, materials science, or related field
  • Business development or industry group experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with energy storage systems and novel energy storage technologies
  • Experience with software modeling tools, such as MATLAB or Python
