Key Responsibilities:- Provide visionary leadership and direction to First Adventure Child Development Centre.
- Oversee daily operations, including staff management, program development, facility maintenance, and financial viability.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care and education.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they meet the centre's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Program Development and Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation of age-appropriate curricula and experiences that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children.
- Ensure the inclusion of diverse and inclusive practices in all programs.
- Implement innovative strategies to enhance the quality of care provided to the children and families.
- Community Engagement:
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community.
- Promote the programs and services through outreach and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders and participate in relevant committees and networks.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Additional certifications in leadership or management are an asset.
- Strong knowledge of leadership, management, operational/program planning, staff relations/development, community relations, advocacy, and financial planning management.
- Effective written, planning, organizational, computer literacy, and time management skills.
