Job Title: Patient Experience Leader

At PHSA, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the overall healthcare experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Experience Leader to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Patient Experience Leader will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient experience activities across the continuum. This includes working closely with regional mental health, substance use, and correctional health centers, health authorities, and primary care providers to determine priorities and objectives that promote evidence-informed approaches for patient experience and capacity building within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement patient experience strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize patient experience initiatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of patient experience measurement strategies.
  • Provide leadership and education on principles of patient experience and person- and family-centered care with health professionals and leaders across PHSA.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support patient experience initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related health field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a leadership role in healthcare, with a focus on patient experience and quality improvement.
  • Strong program evaluation and research skills, with experience in a leadership position.
  • Effective planning and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.
