About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at UniFirst. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain fleet vehicles in a safe working condition, adhering to DOT standards and requirements.
  • Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed and permitted, compliant with all regulatory agencies.
  • Manage parts purchasing and inventory, monitoring for best pricing and quality.
  • Manage the warranty and recall/campaign program.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
  • Proven computer skills and ability to use diagnostic software.
  • Diploma and/or certificate from an accredited technical school and equivalent experience is preferred.
