Experienced Mechanical Engineer for Healthcare Projects

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Regina or Saskatoon offices. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and coordinating mechanical systems for healthcare projects. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to apply your technical expertise and knowledge of plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and fire protection design.
Key Responsibilities- Design and model mechanical systems, including HVAC ventilation and hydronics, controls, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
- Provide technical support and mentor junior staff within the mechanical team.
- Collaborate with clients and other consultants to ensure project success.
- Meet deadlines and coordinate efforts with other disciplines or consultants.
- Review shop drawings and reply to requests for information submitted by contractors during construction phase.
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Recent experience on healthcare building projects.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGS or ability to register upon employment.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Working knowledge with Revit or AutoCAD software is an asset.
