Position Summary:

The Visual Merchandiser plays a crucial role in driving the store's success by fostering an environment that elevates both consumer and employee experiences. This position involves executing strategies that promote business outcomes while supporting the daily operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising:

  • Design impactful visual displays using mannequins and merchandise presentations to enrich customer interactions.
  • Evaluate sales data to uncover opportunities for improvement based on category performance.
  • Implement new initiatives, including floor sets and promotional displays, effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to sales floor standards, including replenishment and organization.
  • Maintain visual merchandising equipment in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Back of House team to streamline receiving processes and stock organization.
  • Stay informed about visual merchandising trends and strategies.
  • Train and mentor store associates on visual standards to uphold merchandising fundamentals.

Store Operations:

  • Oversee daily operational procedures to ensure smooth store functionality.
  • Communicate and implement action plans related to company initiatives and promotions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching on sales techniques and product knowledge to enhance customer service.
  • Model and encourage a customer-centric approach that fosters a culture of sales and service.
  • Conduct performance coaching sessions with team members to meet expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Exemplify adherence to Health and Safety, Harassment, and Loss Prevention regulations.
  • Support recruitment efforts as necessary, including conducting pre-screens and interviews.
  • Follow established procedures for store opening and closing.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a retail leadership capacity.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising.
  • Proven ability to inspire, train, and develop team members towards greater success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
