Position Overview:The Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager at Retailors is tasked with enhancing the store's visual appeal and ensuring an exceptional experience for both customers and employees. This role is pivotal in supporting the Head Coach in daily store operations and driving business performance.
Key Responsibilities:Visual Merchandising Duties:
- Design and implement captivating visual displays using mannequins and merchandise to enrich customer engagement.
- Review sales analytics to pinpoint opportunities for improvement based on category performance.
- Effectively execute new visual initiatives, including floor layouts and promotional displays.
- Ensure adherence to sales floor standards, including replenishment and organization.
- Maintain visual merchandising equipment in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Back of House team to streamline receiving processes and stock organization.
- Stay informed on current visual merchandising trends and strategies.
- Educate and guide store staff on visual merchandising standards.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operational tasks to ensure smooth store functionality.
- Communicate and implement action plans related to company initiatives and promotions.
- Provide ongoing coaching to team members on sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Encourage a customer-centric culture that emphasizes service and sales.
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions with team leads and associates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures among all staff members.
- Model adherence to Health and Safety, Harassment, and Loss Prevention regulations.
- Assist in the recruitment process for new associates, including interviews.
- Follow established protocols for store opening and closing procedures.
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail leadership capacity.
- A minimum of 2 years in a visual merchandising role.
- Proven ability to inspire and develop team members towards achieving success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
