We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team at Invex Foods Canada Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production staff, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 production staff members, including labourers, process control operators, and machine operators.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Materials Management
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit production reports to management.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food and beverage processing environment.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fruit and vegetable processing plant environment. The work site is noisy, and the work setting requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
