Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Staff Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in emergency nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and competent patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in emergency nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
