We are seeking a highly skilled Economist or Senior Economist to contribute to our team's research and analysis of global economic activity.
As a member of our Overseas Economies Division, you will work closely with a diverse group of experts to conduct macroeconomic analysis and advance our research agenda.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering briefings to senior management and the Governing Council on your subject-matter expertise
- Developing and improving monitoring tools and models, as well as conducting longer-term analyses
- Collaborating with colleagues to advance the Department's research agenda
Requirements include:
- Master's degree in economics or finance with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in macroeconomics or econometrics
- Advanced knowledge of macroeconomics, sound econometric skills, and ability to conduct applied economic research
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas to a broad range of audiences
