About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Economist to join our team at the Bank of Canada. As an Economist, you will play a key role in conducting research and analysis to inform economic policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on economic trends and developments
  • Develop and maintain economic models to analyze and forecast economic behavior and patterns
  • Provide economic advice and guidance to senior management and policymakers
  • Collaborate with other economists and researchers to develop and implement economic policy initiatives
  • Communicate complex economic concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • PhD in Economics or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of economic theory and policy
