Job Title: Hog Farm Worker

At F. Ménard, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hog Farm Worker to join our team in Montérégie. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our hog herd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the hog barns and production facilities to ensure optimal operating conditions.
  • Feed and care for the hogs, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Order and manage feed supplies.
  • Administer medications as needed to maintain herd health.
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading animals.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and buildings to prevent deterioration.
  • Apply HACCP and OSH standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to implement recommendations and ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Requirements:
  • Good physical condition and ability to handle animals and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of agricultural maintenance and operations.
  • Independent and resourceful, with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Animal lovers with a dedication to achieving the best possible results.
  • Highly observant and detail-oriented.
