Your contributions to the team:
- Serve as the primary responder to support paint workshop operations.
- Lead the resolution of technical challenges by coordinating activities with other support services and providing technical assistance throughout the problem-solving process, including drafting and executing plans, making recommendations, and implementing changes.
- Ensure alignment of engineering modifications or assembly strategy implementation through close collaboration with engineering, material logistics, quality, and production services.
- Develop strategies to enhance the aircraft painting application stages.
- Guide production personnel to minimize operational costs.
- Investigate opportunities to improve paint preparation and application techniques while participating in research and development initiatives.
- Optimize processes for drafting work instructions and first production control.
- Create effective painting methods, taking into account technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless integration of painting operations into the overall manufacturing workflow.
- Ensure compliance of all paint operations with aerospace safety standards and report any incidents or accidents.
Skills, knowledge & experience required to excel in this role:
- Possess a college degree in engineering or a related field.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or paint workshop environment.
- Demonstrate experience in the aerospace industry or a comparable field.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a foundational understanding of software such as SAP, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Be a collaborative team player with strong communication abilities, capable of effective engagement with various business partners.
- Possess knowledge of aerospace paint procedures and related materials.
- Understand safety and quality standards within the aerospace industry.
- Demonstrate planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
