Job Title: Human Resources Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team at 91HR. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in providing coaching and advice to managers and employees on employee relations and human resources policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational leaders with expert advice on employee relations, including case management, investigation processes, grievance and litigation resolution, and complaints.
  • Offer guidance on the interpretation and application of collective agreements and employment legislation obligations and policies.
  • Provide local operational human resources advice and services to managers and employees.
  • Influence human resources decisions of establishments/business units based on the HR service delivery model.
  • Proactively review operational performance practices and metrics and develop strategies and initiatives to enhance capabilities, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Manage engagement initiatives in a spirit of collaboration at the regional level.
  • Support HR leaders and business partners in recurring annual activities, such as salary reviews, talent reviews, and performance management.
  • Provide support for special projects and other initiatives (e.g., employee engagement/mobilization, performance and capacity improvement, change management).
  • Offer advice on HR policies and procedures and guide clients through the various HR departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in industrial & employee relations.
  • Experience working in an industrial and unionized environment.
  • Knowledge of provincial labour and employment standards and provincial human rights legislation.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and basic knowledge of English.
