Job Summary

Action Restaurant Equipment Services is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services to our clients in the commercial kitchen equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer service calls and provide prompt, professional assistance.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance, as well as installations, as required.
  • Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect commercial kitchen, bakery equipment, and related components to ensure safe operation.
  • Work independently, maintain a personal schedule, and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained company service vehicle.
  • Perform manual tasks, including bending, reaching, standing, lifting, or carrying up to 60 lbs.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of field experience in commercial food equipment refrigeration.
  • Gas fitter 2 certification is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with demonstrated diagnostic ability.
  • Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
  • Availability for some overtime and occasional weekend call-out duties.
  • Comfortable with current software and computer programs.
  • CFESA training or willingness to attend local or out-of-town factory training.
