Job Title: Technician and Related Roles

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Heritage Service Group Canada. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing commercial cooking equipment, commercial gas, steam, and electric food equipment, including coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing commercial cooking equipment and other related appliances
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Using industry knowledge to service complex equipment
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Education in appliance service or a related field is preferred
  • Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is a strong asset but not required
  • Related trade experience is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabricating, mover, basic construction, etc.)
  • Experience working in the foodservice industry is preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
  • Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation
  • Able to occasionally travel to work at other locations as needed, or travel for training purposes
