About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Team Supervisor to join our team at Schneider Electric Norge AS. As a Project Team Supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing project timelines, tracking project deliverables, and leading a team of Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a project team across a regional territory, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and completion of training and development plans for team members.
  • Participate in the hiring process, identifying and selecting top talent to join our team.
  • Conduct employee goal and performance management activities, resolving HR issues and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Lead the project team to manage and execute projects from order acceptance to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Manage resource allocation and day-to-day operational aspects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Provide direction and support to the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines, tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools and ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet company quality standards and contract requirements, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop relationships with clients and consultant personnel, fostering long-term business ties and driving growth.
  • Follow up with clients regarding unpaid invoices, ensuring timely payment and maintaining a positive business relationship.
  • Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, providing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • 3 years' supervisory experience in a project environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven project management experience of 5-10 years in the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Certification in Project Management (CAPM) or PMP would be an asset, demonstrating a high level of expertise and commitment to the field.
  • CET or equivalent Electrical education/experience, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and technologies.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively, with strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Salesforce (bFO) experience would be an asset, with a strong understanding of sales and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
