We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Isidore Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our landscape construction team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, labor, and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective grounds maintenance strategies to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Plan and Estimate Labor and Materials: Conduct thorough site assessments to estimate labor and material requirements for landscape construction projects.
- Organize and Direct Construction: Supervise and coordinate the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain work-related data, including labor hours, materials used, and project progress.
- Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate construction and installation.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support landscape construction projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and resolve work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers: Oversee the work of nursery and greenhouse staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate work and high-quality results.
