We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Taj Contactors Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
