Concrete Finisher

At 911 Construction, we are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Prepare tenders and quotations to ensure accurate estimates and timelines.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve the desired density.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure a precise finish.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Instruct apprentices to ensure they receive proper training and guidance.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to complete the project.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure durability.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent damage and ensure longevity.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain quality and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate understanding of the project.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- As per collective agreement.
- Permanent employment.
- 35 to 44 hours per week.
- English language.
