Job Summary

The YMCA of Three Rivers is seeking a highly skilled EarlyON Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our EarlyON leadership team, you will be responsible for creating a consistent and objective recruitment process, collaborating with our dynamic leadership team, and building community connections to increase our talent pool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the Early Years sector
  • Collaborate with our EarlyON leadership team to support a consistent quality onboarding experience for EarlyON professionals
  • Organize and plan onboarding training across EarlyON locations for all new employees and on request for current employees
  • Support the recruitment, volunteer postings, screening, interviewing, and evaluating volunteer candidates
  • Assist in the onboarding of student placements within the EarlyON system
  • Other duties and/or responsibilities may be added or changed as this new position evolves

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year's experience in recruitment, early years sector administration, or human resources
  • Strong attention to detail and completion of processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Early Learning and Child Care sector and understanding of legislative requirements for qualified staff
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment
  • Up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification, successful completion of Vulnerable Police Records Check within the last 6 months
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, Internet, email, applicant tracking systems, and database management
  • Flexibility and adaptability regarding assigned working hours
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and building a sense of belonging
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Basic fluency in another language, such as Arabic, Tigrinya, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Turkish, would be an asset
