We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our Housekeeping Leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel and conference centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of housekeeping services.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure compliance with hotel standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and analyze housekeeping performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a senior housekeeping role in a hotel or resort setting.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
