Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Alberta Paving Ltd. as a Gravel Truck Driver. This is a seasonal position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Cargo Management: Record and manage cargo information, including weights and measurements, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Navigation: Utilize GPS navigation and communication systems to ensure timely and efficient transportation of gravel.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree required, but 3-5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Air Brakes Endorsement, CPR & First Aid Certificates, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
